Our History

In 1988, Emergent Designs began by exploring new and innovative ways of displaying large posters. We invented, patented and commercialised a lightweight block mount called Artmount, which saw us enjoy rapid commercial growth.

We established a major production centre in Sydney’s Rosebery, and licensees in Victoria, Queensland, New Zealand, Malaysia and Canada. Today, Artmount’s success is evidenced by its continuous use in display and point of sale environments everywhere.

Over three decades, we’ve assembled a long-standing team of highly skilled specialists that work across a wide array of specialised image finishing solutions for myriad clients. These include leading artists, photographers, galleries, brands, and anyone looking to present images with quality and craft that goes beyond the status quo.
